Our Chemical Hearts is about a boy that falls in love with a girl. But, the girl is very mysterious and she has a strange past. The boy investigated about her in Facebook and he found out that she used to be a very happy and very outgoing. Our Chemical Hearts combines the two worst possible addends: love and grief. I found the love ugly, but by ugly, I don't mean it in a negative way. The relationship between our two main characters is incredibly moving and heartwrenching. Two teenagers suffer through their first heartbreak. Henry Page has spent his high school years with his nose to the grindstone, avoiding romantic relationships. Overall, Our Chemical Hearts was a unique, fast paced and quirky read, I would really recommend this to those that love John Green (to be honest its heaps better than his books oOPS DONT HURT ME) and also to those that love quirky characters with a really deep and meaningful plot.
